Everything below is how the product actually behaves - the limits, the timings and the refunds are the same ones the code enforces.
Ask us anything elseIt reads the video rather than guessing: speech from the transcript, motion, audio energy, and - for imported videos - the parts real viewers rewatched most. Those signals are scored together, and the strongest moments become clips. Your plan sets a ceiling on how many; quality decides the number below it, so a quiet video yields fewer.
It runs the same pipeline. The AI scoring that picks moments is on for free accounts, because a trial with it switched off would be showing you different software than the one you would be paying for. What Free gets less of is volume - fewer videos, fewer clips per video, shorter sources - and its exports carry a watermark.
Finished clips stay downloadable for 90 days, then they are deleted. Source videos stay until you delete them. Download anything you want to keep - the clips are ordinary MP4 files with no restrictions on what you do with them.
No. Your video is processed to produce your clips and for nothing else. We do not train models on it, and we do not sell or share it. See the privacy policy for exactly what is processed and by whom.
An upgrade applies immediately and starts your month again: you pay the new plan's price and get its whole allowance, rather than whatever was left of the old one. A downgrade applies at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep the plan you bought until it runs out - cancelling works the same way, and the billing page shows the exact date.
Cancelling leaves the rest of your paid period intact rather than cutting it short, so there is usually nothing to refund. We do refund unauthorised charges, duplicates, charges after cancellation, and periods where a fault on our side stopped the service working - the refund policy sets out each case.
Because the number in your plan is a ceiling, not a target. If the video only contains four moments that clear the quality bar, you get four - filling the quota with weaker cuts would waste your time and the processing. Longer videos with more speech generally yield more.
